But before all of that? You’re about to Find Your Letters through sorority recruitment—and trust us, this is where the friendships, the traditions, and the unforgettable chaos all begin.

May 1st: Registration Opens
July 15th: Registration Closes
July 16th-August 8th: PNMs

July 31st: PNM Videos Due
August 9th: PNM Move-In
August 10th: PNM Orientation
August 11th-12th: Round 2 – Sisterhood & Philanthropy
PNMs can receive a maximum of 14 chapter invitations. This is the first round where you’ll actually meet sorority members in person and visit chapter houses, getting your very first feel for each house.
For outfits, think colorful sundresses paired with comfortable wedges—cute, bright, and put-together while still easy to walk in all day.
August 13-14th: Round 3 – House Tours
PNMs can receive a maximum of 8 chapter invitations. On this day, Panhellenic provides t-shirts for the PNMs to wear. Dress it up with a cute skirt or shorts.
August 15th: Preference Round
PNMs can receive a maximum of 2 chapter invitations for this round. This is the dressiest and most formal part of recruitment, with a more meaningful and sentimental atmosphere.
While not technically required, it’s important to note that most PNMs wear black dresses—you may feel out of place if you choose a different color. Think polished, elegant, and elevated for this round.
August 16th: Bid Day
PNMs are required to wear a dressier WHITE sundress for this round. University of Georgia is one of the few sorority recruitments where this dress code is mandatory, so be sure to plan accordingly. The plus side to this is that you won’t clash your new sorority t-shirt! Think polished, elevated, and classic—something that feels special for one of the most memorable days of recruitment.

FyL FYI: What to know about UGA recruitment
· The doors might not open until August, but sorority recruitment is already happening! It’s important to get on chapters’ radars as soon as you commit to UGA. Make connections, visit campus if you can, and find ways to stand out.
· Get those letters of recommendation in early! These are essential at UGA and submitting them sooner rather than later allows recruitment teams to start learning about you. It can also open the door for opportunities like summer coffee dates or PNM events.
· PNM videos are submitted in advance, and it’s so important to knock yours out of the park. This is your time to shine—stand out and leave them wanting to get to know you more.
