Recruitment Dates & Info 2026

Congratulations and War Eagle – you’re headed to Auburn!

Samford Hall, Langdon Hall, the Auburn seal—and all things burnt orange and navy blue—are about to become part of your everyday life. But before all of that, you’re about to Find Your Letters through sorority recruitment.

Get ready, because Auburn University’s Panhellenic Association hosts one of the largest, loudest, and most electric sorority recruitments in the entire nation! With over 2,300 PNMs jumping into the process every year, this is more than recruitment—it’s a full-on SEC tradition filled with energy, excitement, and unforgettable moments.

Since 1922, sororities have been a defining part of Auburn’s Greek community, helping make Auburn Panhellenic the largest women’s organization on campus, representing nearly 49% of the female undergraduate population. And once you’re in it, you’ll see why—game days that feel like holidays, Big/Little reveals that feel like magic, date parties, sisterhood events, and a calendar that never slows down.

This is where Auburn truly comes alive. War Eagle—and get ready for the ride of a lifetime. 🐅🔥

Auburn Recruitment 2026 Dates

August 1–7: Ice Water Teas
During this round, PNMs will view videos from all the different sororities.

Fun Fact: While other campuses call this round “Open House,” the name Ice Water Teas comes from the traditional practice of sororities offering guests only ice water—not tea—as a refreshing and simple welcome during hot, in-person house tours.

August 8-10: Philanthropy Round

During this round, PNMs can visit up to 13 chapters over 3 days. You’ll learn all about each chapter’s philanthropy and community service efforts. Panhellenic will provide T-shirts for PNMs to wear—easy, cute, and uniform for the day!

August 11-13: Sisterhood Round

During this round, PNMs can attend up to 8 chapters over 3 days. Each party is 40 minutes long and gives you a glimpse into each chapter’s sisterhood and what life as a member really looks like. For outfits, think slightly dressier—like something you’d wear to a nice dinner.

August 14: Preference Round

During this round, PNMs can attend up to 2 chapters. These 50-minute rounds are more meaningful and emotional in nature as you reflect on your final choices. This is the most formal round of recruitment—think wedding reception or cocktail attire.

August 15: Bid Day

For the perfect Auburn Bid Day outfit, think comfortable, stylish, and ready to celebrate in white or black (so you don’t clash with your new Bid Day shirt!). Popular options include athleisure dresses, rompers, or a skirt-and-top combo that can easily be worn under your sorority t-shirt.

August 17: Classes Start

FyL FYI: What to know about Auburn’s recruitment

  • The doors might not open until August, but sorority recruitment is already happening! It’s important to get on chapters’ radars as soon as you commit to Auburn. Make connections, visit campus if you can, and find ways to stand out.

  • Get those letters of recommendation in early! These are essential at Auburn and submitting them sooner rather than later allows recruitment teams to start learning about you. It can also open the door for opportunities like summer coffee dates or PNM events.

  • PNM videos are submitted in advance, and it’s so important to knock yours out of the park. This is your time to shine—stand out and leave them wanting to get to know you more.

How FyL Can Help

  • Conversation support (what chapters suggest you talk about vs. the real questions you should be asking) – check!

  • Recommendation & resume guidance (what chapters are looking for, what actually helps you stand out, and where rec writers typically come from) – check!

  • Understanding the process (how cuts are made, when to expect major drops, and what Panhellenic shares vs. what you really need to know) – check!

Explore our packages under the Personal Coaching or Build Your Own Package tabs. We’re rooting for you and can’t wait to see you Find Your Letters on Bid Day! 🎉
